businessasusual Posted September 5, 2011 Share #21 Posted September 5, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I also find it interesting how people are so willing to think the worst of others, with no justification... It's just ridiculous. We could be more forgiving if we have more information - that is poster is a) really young, old and bitter or c) Sagittarian. tmldds Posted September 5, 2011 Share #23 Posted September 5, 2011 These sickly rich people, they buy the most expensive stuff just because they are the most expensive... For your information, Lauren Bush is very much involved with the UN in the program to help end hunger in the world. Tri
Dutch Posted September 5, 2011 Share #24 Posted September 5, 2011 I certainly dislike George Bush Jr. for what he has done politically, but in this case there is just one thing to say... Congratulations to the newly weds! Oh, and... NICE LEICA!

menos I M6 Posted September 5, 2011 Share #26 Posted September 5, 2011 Leica M6 classic … cute woman. What's with the negative comments in this thread ? [shakes head]
Dutch Posted September 5, 2011 Share #27 Posted September 5, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Lauren Bush is his niece not his daughter. I was just trying to point out that it's silly to hold family wealth, or political activity of family members against a person. She is not her uncle or her family's money. She's just herself with her own interests, apparently such as Leica cameras and photography.

pico Posted September 5, 2011 Share #30 Posted September 5, 2011 These sickly rich people, they buy the most expensive stuff just because they are the most expensive... It's likely an M6, with a stock strap. You know how many vanity threads there have been here on straps? Who has to be rich?

AlanG Posted September 5, 2011 Share #32 Posted September 5, 2011 She's actually his Grand Daughter. Just so we're clear about which Bush we're referring to, she is Neil's daughter, George H.W.'s granddaughter and George W's niece. Some people called George W. "George Jr." I found this on Neil Bush in Wikipeda, "Bush's divorce deposition gained public attention when he admitted to several sexual encounters with high-priced escorts/prostitutes in Thailand and Hong Kong in which he admitted to catching the STD herpes.[20][25][26][27] Among other divorce testimony aired in the press, Bush's friend John Spalding announced that Sharon had extracted hair samples from her estranged husband in order to place a voodoo curse on him. Sharon Bush later confirmed the forcible hair removal, but she stated that she took the hair to be tested for evidence of drug use.[28]" I can't say I'm very surprised that anyone owns a specific brand or model of camera. I wouldn't read anything into it unless it was something pretty unexpected such as an 8x10 Deardorf or a digital MF Alpa. What I like most about the photos is how ragged David Lauren's clothing is in one shot. Now what message is he trying to send?
ddp Posted September 5, 2011 Share #33 Posted September 5, 2011 What I like most about the photos is how ragged David Lauren's clothing is in one shot. Now what message is he trying to send? Purposely ragged of course. Typical of certain clothing lines of Ralph Lauren's empire (Double RL for example), and the "lifestyle" his brand portrays. Eastgreenlander Posted September 5, 2011 Share #36 Posted September 5, 2011 These sickly rich people, they buy the most expensive stuff just because they are the most expensive... My thoughts pretty much along same lines as above (Prunelle). My guess photoshoot was staged by stylist to the last detail. Marrying into fashion family nothing but Leica film camera will do, darling. I find the psychology very interesting, surprised to say the least. Why not a M? It's compact, easy to use, high quality, yes it looks great with a beautiful design. Stylists aparently have nice taste too Remarks about how people spend their money are simply out of my comprehension but then again when prejudice emerges it's always shows people stupidity. NZDavid Posted September 5, 2011 Share #37 Posted September 5, 2011 Lauren becomes Lauren Bush Lauren... Could make it tricky filling in forms. Lots of celebs have Leicas. Lauren appears to only be a celeb because of her family. Why shouldn't she enjoy a Leica? She is more likely to be pestered by intrusive paparazzi wielding giant DSLRs and monster zoom lenses. Lauren appears to only be a celeb because of her family. Why shouldn't she enjoy a Leica? She is more likely to be pestered by intrusive paparazzi wielding giant DSLRs and monster zoom lenses. Considering she worked as a fashion model, and her husband is in charge of advertising and marketing for the family's brands, she probably won't shy away from being photographed whether this involves monster zoom lenses or not.
