Washington Posted September 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted September 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I really like shoe mount viewfinders. Thus, I have one for every focal length I own for the M-9…. and I really use them. So, I decided to get things in line for the upcoming Ricoh GXR Leica lens module. This is the mock-up, when I’m happy with it …. I’ll take it apart and paint it.

jamesk8752 Posted September 3, 2011 Share #2 Posted September 3, 2011 Great idea, Rip - puts the finder right over the lens, where it belongs. Could you please post a dimensioned drawing and some construction tips for those of us who might want to make one for ourselves? TIA! Regards, Jim
Washington Posted September 3, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted September 3, 2011 Jim, Ok, I’ll try to give it a shot when I am finished. The trouble with me is I sorta ‘’wing-it’’ from stuff I have around…. no previous plan as such, I just know what I want to do. Let me see what I can do in a bit…. to try and explain what to do and what you need to do it. Cheers.
shard Posted September 3, 2011 Share #4 Posted September 3, 2011 Won't you lose the use of the EVF with this setup?
