nggalai Posted August 30, 2011 Share #2 Posted August 30, 2011 Hi David, I contacted Steve directly via LUF’s private messages system. His nick name here is 250swb. Two mails later, mostly regarding shipping cost to non-EU Switzerland, the Thumbie arrived inside one week. Cheers, -Sascha

nggalai Posted August 31, 2011 Share #4 Posted August 31, 2011 Much obliged. Sounds mysterious. You like Thumbie? David I love it. My first Leica was the M3, so I got used to using the film winder as support for my thumb. With the Thumbie’s, it’s even more comfortable hand-holding the M9 for longer stretches of time than the lighter M3. I believe I remember one or two threads on LUF that were discussing the Thumbie, Thumbs-Up and other, similar gripping solutions. You could give the search function a swirl; I think it was in the “Digital” sub forum. Cheers, -Sascha
