elansprint72 Posted November 17, 2011 Share #41 Posted November 17, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ron, What post-processing are you doing on the digital shots? Do you shoot in colour and then use something Like Silver Efex Pro? I've just ordered this and the experiments should start tomorrow! Superb range of tones. Over the last few months I've been getting some strange looks track-side as I've been using a Nikon F1 and a Weston Master.

Rona!d Posted November 18, 2011 Author Share #42 Posted November 18, 2011 You'll be fine with that, Pete. I think I used it for the digital snaps of this series.

Bob Jackson Posted November 19, 2011 Share #44 Posted November 19, 2011 Great series of photos, wish I could have been there just to hear the roars they made as they went around the Ring.

Rona!d Posted November 25, 2011 Author Share #47 Posted November 25, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Congratulations Mr, Ronalds. It,s one of the most beuatiful reports about the racing cars legends, i have seen ever. Please, ask me a question, what camera and lenses have you used to make this job?Regards from Valencia (Spain). Glad you like it! Here the list of cameras used this year (mixed over two days). What is always with me is an M plus 24/35/50mm, it´s perfect in the pits. p.s. Somehow I have no trouble with mixing gear - for example some years ago a friend gave me his Nikon (I´m a Canon shooter in that regard) and the results were the same, although I had to learn the buttons and opposite screw/wheel-directions of the Nikon which I used for the first time. Rona!d Posted April 12, 2013 Author Share #54 Posted April 12, 2013 Glad you still enjoy those snaps, that was a lucky year. I go there every year and enjoy the sound and smell of old race cars so much. Some of those snaps are posters hanging in the basement. I think, I should hang one or two in my upstairs office so they see "daylight". Thanks!
