ian moore Posted August 7, 2011 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I will shortly be using Photoshop CS4 on a new laptop. I currently use CS2 and have created a lot of actions which I would wish to transfer to my new laptop. Is there an easy way to save my actions and transfer them without having to redo them all on CS4? Thanks, Ian.
Advertisement Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Hi ian moore, Take a look here MOVING FROM CS2 TO CS4. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
delander † Posted August 7, 2011 Share #2 Posted August 7, 2011 Yes, (from the top of my head) find the locations of your actions (.atn files) on your CS2 machine, copy them onto portable storage and then copy them onto your new machine, at the same location as the actions that come with CS4. You will then need to open CS4 and use 'load actions' in the actions panel. CS4 will then ask you to locate the actions and load them. Jeff
