ChiILX1 Posted July 24, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a Leicameter M and don't always want it on my M2. Sometimes I have my M2 in the original brown ever ready case and sometimes I have it just on a black neckstrap with white stitching. So I'm looking for a black and brown cases for it to keep on the respective straps. It needs to fit my LeicameterM. I can't seem to find one. The closest I found were these below. Will they fit and where can I find them? Thanks. BLACK 1 BLACK 2 BROWN 1 Those look nice and if they fit the Leicameter M I'd like to buy them. Thanks for your help. Twotone Posted July 24, 2011 Share #3 Posted July 24, 2011 Hi, I have a Liecameter MC and it came with one of those cases, I would think your Leicameter M would fit in one of them.

Twotone Posted July 24, 2011 Share #9 Posted July 24, 2011 Great! Any idea where to look and find one? Here's a couple here, bit pricey but they'll be in good condition. Might be an idea to buy one along with a meter like these and then sell your own meter Products

doubice Posted July 25, 2011 Share #11 Posted July 25, 2011 From what I recall, the original Leicameter M was taller than the later MC and MR meters. MC and MR meters are practically identical in size - the MC and MR cases are a rather tight fit and I am not sure if the Leicameter M will fit. Just a word of caution from somebody who used all these meters..... Best, Jan

ChiILX1 Posted July 25, 2011 Author Share #13 Posted July 25, 2011 Thanks it looks like it may be a tad longer in length too? I did find this picture on an auction site. Looks like it's close, and that there is a non-snap case as well, although I'm more interested in the black one: http://image.artfact.com/housePhotos/leonardjoel/39/294539/H3018-L19611817.jpg?h=0B1F239FE2B56E4334BDFC48D4D90AE6&cn=AFTOKEN-prod

ChiILX1 Posted September 6, 2011 Author Share #15 Posted September 6, 2011 Just bought a black one on ebay for around $80 in mint condition. I was stoked! Got it in the mail and it doesn't fit. The Leica Meter M is a hair too thick and a hair too long. :confused:The case won't close. Yuck. Returning it and it's so beautiful. And it was so hard to find! What a shame! JeTexas Posted September 13, 2011 Share #16 Posted September 13, 2011 If they don't have to be the original cases you could probably find generic leather sheaths for swiss army knives that would fit them. I bet this would work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VICTORINOX-MODEL-CASE-33247-SWISS-ARMY-KNIVES-/360390282328?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53e8ef4c58 Or in leather: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-LEATHER-VICTORINOX-MOUNTAINEER-SWISS-ARMY-KNIFE-BELT-CASE-POUCH-/320758903132?pt=UK_Collectables_Militaria_LE&hash=item4aaeb8715c
