Guest chriisi Posted February 9, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 9, 2007 i don't like the written thing under the picture.. the first one is quite good, although i think it is a bit too distant.. 2-3 meters closer would give a stronger photo i think.. stuny Posted February 9, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 9, 2007 Jedi Knight (is that your destiny?) - You arre getting very nice quality with your CM. #1 is very nearly there. The colors, light, subject and details are right on the money, but as Christopher suggests above, it needs cropping. I'd try cropping on the right just to the right of that interesting pile of stones, and on the left just to the left of the 90 degree turn in the wall. I do not find the printing objectionable since it it not within the image. I feel putting it in the image, as we sometimes see here, usually detracts from the image. Guest chriisi Posted February 9, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 9, 2007 @ stuny: i didn't say cropping.. nearer to the subject- >physically.. cropping would give you such an tele-effect, which is awful.. cheers
lambroving Posted February 10, 2007 Share #5 Posted February 10, 2007 Like the first one. Matter of taste, but prefer black or dark borders on color shots. Keep shooting!
