Advertisement Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Hi }{B, Take a look here Turning the 'udder' cheek. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted July 21, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted July 21, 2011 Howard - Â This is almost excellent, especially for composition, moment and clarity. I think you can achieve excellence with it by both making the verticals vertical (rotating to the right about 3 degrees) and slightly punching it up ( little bit of increase in highlight and shadow sliders), as shown in this small version below. }{B Posted July 21, 2011 Author Share #3 Â Posted July 21, 2011 Yes you're quite right. I've gone back into Light Room and rotated the shot and increased the highlights and as you say it does look better. Thanks for taking the trouble to rework this. k-hawinkler Posted July 22, 2011 Share #6 Â Posted July 22, 2011 Nicely seen. Somehow now the colors of the cow look unnatural to me. Â K-H.
}{B Posted July 22, 2011 Author Share #7 Â Posted July 22, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks all. Increasing the highlights has made the white areas of the cow more obvious but on my screen at least the animals overall colour hasn't really changed.
