Advertisement Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Hi gesper, Take a look here megaperl 1.33 magnifier? . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
innerimager Posted March 5, 2007 Author Share #22 Posted March 5, 2007 since I started this thread I should report, I was able to obtain one and I love it. The diopter adjust makes all the difference, allows me to take my glasses off and really get my eye to the magnifier, (a better fit than the 1.25x I had in this reagrd), and I'm finding it significantly easier to focus than with the 1.25x. best....Peter

I just started using the 1.35x today with my 50mm and 75mm lenses and focusing is much easier for my tired old eyes. As Peter noted the adjustable diopter is a big plus. Firemedic Posted April 9, 2009 Share #24 Posted April 9, 2009 I can understand how the MS-MAG 1.35x magnifier is useful for focusing and such when used with 50mm or larger lenses. But can the LED display be readily seen when this magnifier is used along with these lenses? How about with the 135mm?
luigi bertolotti Posted April 9, 2009 Share #25 Posted April 9, 2009 The LEDs are quite visible also with the 1,35x on, and this does not depend on the lens you mount : the problem arises if you try to use it with your spectacles on... in this case you definitely have difficulty in having a good sight of LEDs... and also the frames down from 50 are an issue. But the MAG has a diopter adjustment that works fine (at least, with my eye) : pity that diopter adjustement ring is very loose and can easily lose the correct setting... I made a pair of little reference lines to "remember" the correct position. With the warnings said above, is a very useful device for 75-90-135, and worths its decent price: when I use my "light lens set" 35+75 it stays always on. gesper Posted April 9, 2009 Share #26 Posted April 9, 2009 I agree with Luigi. Can't get close enough with my glasses on, but the diopter adjustment works fine so I don't need them. I keep the magnifier on all the time and use it for all lenses, including a 135mm.
