Advertisement Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Hi neal, Take a look here Rediculus to the Sublime, British Motoring. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LuxBob Posted June 11, 2011 Share #2 Posted June 11, 2011 Nice comparison. Possibly a tricky exposure with that white body and the relatively dark red. I think you can fix one and you need to. The other you can't fix but don't need to. A 6' 2'' friend of mine had just such a Sprite and amazingly he could easily get in and out.

elansprint72 Posted June 20, 2011 Share #8 Posted June 20, 2011 Shouldn't that be titled "German vs British motoring"? Good point; virtually all the design was done at Crewe and they are assembled there but nearly all the metal parts are brought in from Europe. The wood and soft furnishings are made at the factory. It is a different story with the (much more expensive and exclusive) Mulsanne, those really are Crewe built, by hand.
Rona!d Posted June 20, 2011 Share #9 Posted June 20, 2011 Shouldn't that be titled "German vs British motoring"? Indeed, but that shows the whole dilemma of 1970´s-1990´s British Motoring even more clear If we leave "national pride" aside, it was not the worst thing happened to supercars from Britain and Italy.
