What goes on when the guys are not "over the wall" is just as interesting, and demanding, as the actual pit-stops. Indeed, this is where the race is won or lost, the unsung heroes behind the scenes.

Not to mention bleeding air pressure from the tires as the conditions warm, lugging fresh tires from carrier or applying/removing the warmers, polishing wheels (a never-ending task) and answering questions from stupid amateur photographers!

All I do is point the camera, focus and shoot...Leica takes care of the rest!

It was cool this day...upper fifties, lower sixties.
