Advertisement Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Hi psquared, Take a look here Cedar Waxwing . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted February 3, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 3, 2007 Peter - Wonderful and very nostalgic for me. As a child I loved two crested birds: cardinals and cedar wax wings. I've not seen one of these in decades and I'm so glad you had your 800MM bazooka handy. Lovely subject, details and colors, including that touch of red I so loved as a child
psquared Posted February 3, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted February 3, 2007 Stuart, Thank you for your kind comment. I also love those tufts of hair sticking up! I would love to take pictures of cardinals and blue jays. Alas, we're not blessed with those beauties over here. One of these days, I'll bring my long lenses to NJ, where my brother lives, and get some of those birds. Peter
