epand56 Posted May 20, 2011 Share #25 Posted May 20, 2011 Hank, thank you for the great pleasure I had looking at your pictures. The quality is superb. Your camera is so fast that propellers look still. And I did not know the Mig 15 was so much smaller than the F86.

Enrico, when you get up close and have the pleasure to walk around the Mig 15 that's the first thing you notice, how small it was compared to the F 86. dkCambridgeshire Posted May 29, 2011 Share #34 Posted May 29, 2011 The 350mm Telyt-R is a superb lens but for some reason not so popular. Your photos should encourage a few owners (including myself) to use the lens more often - especially with modern DSLRs. Has anyone tried the lens with a 4/3 or M4/3 camera? As a matter of interest, what apertures were used? Best wishes dunk
Hank Taylor Posted May 29, 2011 Author Share #35 Posted May 29, 2011 The 350mm Telyt-R is a superb lens but for some reason not so popular. Your photos should encourage a few owners (including myself) to use the lens more often - especially with modern DSLRs. Has anyone tried the lens with a 4/3 or M4/3 camera? As a matter of interest, what apertures were used? Best wishes dunk Dunk I'm really impressed with my 350mm Telyt-R since picking it up again to shoot the air show. This is truly a wonderful lens with ease of handling when considering its a 350mm. No problem focusing since you set it at infinity when shooting at that distance. It was shot at F8 at 3000 sec. and at that setting everything was in sharp focusing and no movement. Hand held these. I have also used my leica APO- Extender -R 2.0x with excellent results. Although the 350mm isn't an APO it sure seems as sharp to be one. I wouldn't trade this lens for a Leica R280 APO and that may surprise some users. The Telyt 350mm is a true sleeper! and one hell less money. Have no info on using this lens with the 4/3 or M4/3 camera Thanks again, Hank
