Advertisement (gone after registration)

- black frames every 50-200 shots from new (sent to Solms - no trouble found)

- horizontal rangefinder misalignment at infinity (adjusted in Solms)

 

6 months old, now 7,000 shots

 

no black frames (yet?) after latest FW upgrade (>200 shots since upgrade)

 

 

- have to add a single vertcal line of light pixels across 2/3 of the image at ISO >1000 (first attempt at higher ISO).

 

Back to Solms next week.

Purchased Dec last year, the camera is still not working......very poor focus with a large selection of lenses. Been back to Factory many times with no success.

Last three weeks nightmare

Lost a lot of pictures due memory card write issues. Two memory cards failing on a whale watching trip, resulting zero photos from the trip that I booked to take photos.

 

The vulcanite pealing at the low left corner..

I would have said 12 months of perfect operation but .... In the last month, I've had three separate episodes where I will get way overexposed frames with a vertical blur (not motion blur) - while on auto. The file data shows a reasonable shutter speed, say 1/60 at f/8 but the picture is WAY overexposed. If I power off the camera, normal operation returns, except on the last time which required a couple of power ons and offs. The camera is going to Leica this week. I'm very unhappy!
