leicamann Posted July 14, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 14, 2006 Nice ..natural..unpretensious..un self-concious..un posed....un staged... non fabricated.. non plastic forced..... portraits..no attempt to be "glitsy or graphic".. Wonderful personality..very engaging. I agree about this film..really shoddy coming from Kodak..these turned out ok though. Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
meatboy Posted July 14, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 14, 2006 Steve, You are fortunate that your wife will pose for you. Mine is an unwilling subject. This is an excellent capture. I agree with John, a very engaging portrait. Tim
stevem7 Posted July 14, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted July 14, 2006 Thanks guys. Yea, nothing was set up. She was out with the dog and I snapped a couple. She always hates when I do that, but I liked these even though she did not. ALso, so far I have found my fave clor film to be Fuji Reala. Great colors so Ill probably stick with that as my print film. I have yet to try any slide film but have a roll of velvia in my fridge. Thanks for the comments. Guest imported_stefan_r Posted July 14, 2006 Share #11 Posted July 14, 2006 the last one looks like a nice passport photograph, far too sharp, leave her space to breath... take the first one. also I think that these are very personal pictures, so it is difficult for me to connect. regards
