robsteve Posted February 3, 2007 Share #21 Posted February 3, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Robert, Manchester airport is a lot closer - from where I live it's about 30 minutes on a good day! All my holidays are more or less taken up this year - before you ask France :-), but if you ever come again to the UK again I'm sure Andy and myself would be more that happy to show you around what the North-West of England has to offer! I almost came last weekend, but there is always more than airfare to add into the expenses. I didn't have my M8 yet either. I forget what the airfare was, but I think it was under 250 pounds including the taxes and all the other stuff. Paris is pretty cheap lately too, but I don't think I have time for Paris until March or April. Robert

stunsworth Posted February 3, 2007 Share #24 Posted February 3, 2007 Peter, we were on our way to the pub. It was a great choice of pub too, and the food portions were well cooked and generous to say the least.
Rolo Posted February 3, 2007 Share #25 Posted February 3, 2007 Probably took Rolo half an hour Morning Andy !! Ariels took 3 minutes, removing Van 5, removing stumps 5, removing old ladies 5, adding 4 old ladies to bridge (without shadows) 5, lifting genera limage flatness 3, developing sky 3, addinding 2 pedestrians by river 3 toning 1. Probably 25 mins max in total, but good practice. Rolo ps - I didn't play with it to 'improve' it - just to tease.
Peter41951 Posted February 3, 2007 Share #26 Posted February 3, 2007 Andy, a lovely photograph - nice, rich tones. Rolo, I do like your take, too, and have much enjoyed this thread! :D If you remove the double yellows, too, your photo will definitely be timeless, though I need to peep for double glazing.........no, you're fine there. Now, cloning in an elm tree would confuse everybody!

Rolo Posted February 4, 2007 Share #28 Posted February 4, 2007 Steve, Rolo, You are quit practiced up, I be all evening add it and spend most of my time finding the right tool for the job. Peter Peter, You'll get there if you practice. It's why I pull down images from this site and play. If i do it on my own it takes much longer dealing with high res files and going for more perfection. Get to know the tools and their second dimensions. Learn to remove a colour cast, de-fog, straighten, crop and vignette in a heartbeat. Rolo
