Hi all

 

for fathers day my wide was thinking about buying me a flash unit for my M8, but I wanted one that would also work on my pentax KX.

 

 

Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions?

Don't know the KX, but a Canon Speedlite works on my M8. I don't like flash as the main lighting. It works, but the quality of the light is ugly to my eye; I think I'm talking about flash in general, not this product. I have not got around to using flash for outdoor fill.

 

I have a wide, too, but I always call her my wife because that way I get fewer iron skillets thrown at me.

I use the SF24D flash gun off camera with a Nikon SC-17 cord. I get wonderful results as you can use direct lighting or bounce off the floor, walls or ceiling.
