bpalme Posted May 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Do you have to pay to put a normal size photo of say 1kb? When I size mine down to the required 960X960 it is so small it's not worth posting.

wda Posted May 4, 2011 Share #3 Posted May 4, 2011 Alternatively, you might see it if you inter 75ppi as resolution, which is ideal for viewing on screen.

tobey bilek Posted May 4, 2011 Share #5 Posted May 4, 2011 100 ppi is the current normal standard for monitors. 72 went out a long time ago. Take a photo of a ruler and put it on the monitor, then measure it to prove it. Sharpen with low radius, .5, after capture sharpening and resizing to web size. You can also put up an image on a hosting site like Photobucket and use a link or the yellow mountain icon above and the image code from the hosting site and it will go as big as you want. andybarton Posted May 4, 2011 Share #6 Posted May 4, 2011 No you can't. Please stick to the forum rules for photo sizes. 960 max pixels on the long length, 300kb max file size. Oversized photographs will be removed.
stunsworth Posted May 4, 2011 Share #7 Posted May 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) DPI/PPI is irrelevant. It's the number of pixels that matter. You're doing something wrong when you resize the images
