Diego is a young adult Red-tailed Hawk who lives at the UC Davis California Raptor Center. Diego is non-releasable because of injuries that didn't heal well, leaving him unable to fly.

Both: R8/DMR, 280mm f/4 APO, shoulder stock & monopod. All comments welcome.

How do I upload so the photos show up instead of being clickable links???

Hi Doug

Click on the 'new thread', 'reply' or 'quote' button as necessary.

Check you are in advanced mode (it will say 'go advanced' if you're not)

There should be a paperclip and small arrow at the top of the advanced box

If you click this a dialogue box opens called 'manage attachments'

There are 5 empty boxes which can receive the location of the images you want to post, given they are on your computer.

It's best to press the 'browse' button, which allows you to search through your computer and files until you get the right image. You also have the option to upload from a URL.

Be sure you've got the image size and maximum number of kb right, for the type of image you're uploading (see attachment key, which is in the box)

Once the location and image are right, click upload to send the image to the website the box gives you a message to say it's ok.

You can then close the dialogue box.

Now when you click the paperclip you can select the images to put in your post, either one by one, or by the 'attach all' command

If you want to upload some mor, click the paperclip and hit the 'manage attachments' part of the drop down menu.

You can space them out and add text as normal.

Bit like this:

Hope this is ok

Doug,

....... which prompted Bobby Jones, the Masters' patron saint, to say, ''He plays a game with which I am not familiar.'' ......these continue to separate you from the masses. Standing ovation.
