farnz Posted February 5, 2007 Author Share #21 Posted February 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I went back to the oribinal image and worked from there, so here's the re-worked B&W image. Please let me know if you think: 1. it's an improvement, and 2. there are areas that you feel would benefit from extra work - as specific as you can please. Thanks for comments! Pete. farnz Posted February 5, 2007 Author Share #22 Posted February 5, 2007 In response to a comment this is a version with a touch more contrast and a little more sharpening. Am I getting closer? As always, thanks for your comments. Pete. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! egibaud Posted February 6, 2007 Share #23 Posted February 6, 2007 Pete, I find this shot a bit comical and for that reason enjoy it very much. Some of you know that I am a priest of the Anglican variety and this priest looks exactly how I feel, for the most part, after doing a wedding!!!! Not sure how long an Anglican wedding takes, but I was told that Ortodox wedding takes from 4 to 7 hours.... this must be why the priest looks so exhausted I love the pic too
Rolo Posted February 7, 2007 Share #24 Posted February 7, 2007 Peter, You've done a nice job with the upper panels. I believe you can get more atomosphere out the image and put more emotion into yet. It remains a great capture. Rolo
