msteber Posted May 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just tried to sync photos from my Aperture 3 library to my iPhone and discovered a problem. It seems that the only photos that show up on the iPhone are those that I haven't updated the lens information. That is, I typically use Lightroom to process the lens info metadata before importing into Aperture. None of those photos properly sync with the iPhone. Only those photos that I have forgotten to update the lens info sync properly. I don't want to give up the lens information, and I would like to have some photos on my phone as well. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Mark

msteber Posted May 5, 2011 Author Share #2 Posted May 5, 2011 OK:confused: So everybody either 1.) Doesn't use Aperture 2.) If they do use Aperture don't update their lens information (why???) 3.) Don't have an iphone 4.) If they do have an iphone don't put any pictures on it using iTunes syncing from the Aperture library I can't believe that nobody has experienced this issue! Guess I will have to go back to using a iPhoto mirror of my Aperture library, as syncing with iPhoto works. Thanks for looking Mark
