denoir Posted June 14, 2011 Share #61 Posted June 14, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) The above was posted on May 3rd. Today is June 13th. Think maybe it's time the thread title was changed from "in a few days"? Why? It's not less true today than it was a month ago.

Lindolfi Posted June 15, 2011 Share #65 Posted June 15, 2011 Just ran some tests on the 21/2.8 asph and the correction has improved a lot. The CV 12/5.6 coded as the 21/2.8 non-asph produces less of a redish/magenta edge on the left side with this firmware than with the former one, so also an improvement. Lindolfi Posted June 15, 2011 Share #66 Posted June 15, 2011 Just ran some tests on the 21/2.8 asph and the correction has improved a lot. I'll take that back. The result is unbelievably good! Here a comparison of an 28/2.8 asph Elmarit image at f/16 and with white opaque plastic cover with coding (top) and without coding (bottom), using the new Firmware. otto.f Posted June 15, 2011 Share #67 Posted June 15, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I see a difference between CaptureOne and LR3. The CV 15 (treated as 21/2.8 non-asph), the Elmarit 24 and the Summicron 35 IV are practically clean in LR3 and have a slight magenta corner Top Left in CaptureOne, which is again a compliment for CaptureOne
Lindolfi Posted June 16, 2011 Share #68 Posted June 16, 2011 I'll take that back. The result is unbelievably good! Here a comparison of an 28/2.8 asph Elmarit image at f/16 and with white opaque plastic cover with coding (top) and without coding (bottom), using the new Firmware. Sorry! There's a typing error in this message, should be 21/2.8 asph Elmarit.
k_g_wolf ✝ Posted June 16, 2011 Share #69 Posted June 16, 2011 The 12mm-VC-lens set at >>21/ 2.8 pre asph.<< works beautifully, thx for this hint, great ! Used the manual 16 mm-setting so far with this lens, and this setting still doen´t look alright. Best GEORG _______________________________ Same excellent results with the 15 mm VC-lens. No colourshift, VERY little vignetting. Just beautiful now.
