MA-Sweden Posted April 26, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 26, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, When I´m taking pictures with my M9 and C-Biogon 2.8/35 ZM (my only lens for now), I´m getting some nasty moiré (blue & yellow). It´s not in every picture, but often. What is the most effective way to deal with that kind of artifacts? I have Lightroom 3.3 and Photoshop CS5 for post-processing. I have heard good thing about C1 6 Pro, that it have some kind of "analyze" mode that can deal with moiré. Can somebody comfirm that it´s more effective than other software against that kind of moiré?
Advertisement Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Hi MA-Sweden, Take a look here C1 Pro. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
archi4 Posted April 26, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 26, 2011 C1 6 pro doesa pretty good job, but if you have to buy it just for that it is not cheap. However, it is for many things my developer of choice so I wold advise trying it ( a trial version is available) In photoshop there are various techniques and I would advise doing a search. Here is a link to a tutorial for a start: http://av.adobe.com/russellbrown/GoAwaySM.mov regards, maurice

Leicakillen Posted April 29, 2011 Share #4 Posted April 29, 2011 Magnus, I have the same problem - quite a lot of moire on some of my M9 images. Have tried to fix it in LR3 but that does not work very well. Understand that Caputer One offers a simple solution and PS a more complex. I would have very little use of PS for other problems because I don´t have to develope my images to this extent that PS offers, so for me Capture One might be the best way, but I am not sure.... Have you come to a good conclusion? Below a chair in Gamla Stan. Regards /Anders
