Funny that you would say that you didnt mean to offend, but your statement says otherwise.

 

I initially wanted to buy the M9 but the store owner recommended that i just buy the v lux 2 for practical purposes Adding to that, he said " v lux 2 produces great pictures."

 

The thread starter was asking feedbacks from people who have actually used the camera. I was just stating mine.

Fwiw, I don't think Eddie was trying to be offensive but I understand how his comment could be read that way. I think it's just the gulf of difference and price between a V-Lux 2 and an M9 that makes the replacement of a long telephoto, autofocus, SLR, bridge camera to a manual, full-frame, rangefinder camera a little surprising. It works for you so that's what matters and I hope you'll enjoy your M9 for many years and post some pictures in the photo forums when you feel ready.
