Advertisement Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Hi rfaust226, Take a look here Converting RWL raw files with Photoshop. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted April 22, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2011 Welcome to the forum! Photoshop 4 is prehistoric. What software came with your camera?
250swb Posted April 22, 2011 Share #3 Posted April 22, 2011 Do you have the latest version of ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) installed that is compatible with CS4? Try the Updater, it may install the latest version, or it may be too old and you need to find it on Adobe's website. Otherwise maybe you could use the Adobe .dng converter and change them from RWL to .dng? Steve
ho_co Posted April 22, 2011 Share #4 Posted April 22, 2011 I hope that when you say PS 4 you mean PSCS4. (PSCS 4 is actually PS version 11.) Just updating to the latest ACR is all you need to do, as Steve said. If you're actually using Photoshop version 4, you'll need to update to a current version of Photoshop or any other raw converter/image processor. And welcome to the forum! andybarton Posted April 22, 2011 Share #5 Posted April 22, 2011 I think we need the OP to confirm which version of Photoshop is being used. Photoshop 4 was released in 1996.
adan Posted April 23, 2011 Share #6 Posted April 23, 2011 Actually the "current" version of Adobe Camera Raw (6.0) requires PSCS5 - has for about a year. Not backward compatable with CS 4 or earlier.
