peekpt Posted April 21, 2011 Author Share #4 Posted April 21, 2011 This setup is very identical to mine, but I'm still waiting for some addons to arrive to post mine.
Nick_S Posted April 22, 2011 Share #5 Posted April 22, 2011 I used to get some nice close-up results using pairs of Rolleinar I, II and III attachments on a Rolleiflex GX camera (the upper lens of each pair also contained a prism to compensate for parallax). It seems to me that something like this should be possible with the X1 using a large diameter close-up lens of sufficient diameter to avoid vignetting. maddog333 Posted May 13, 2011 Share #18 Posted May 13, 2011 Inspired by your pictures, finally decided to buy those accessories, especially the 49mm tube. Am in China, so the stuff are rather cheap here – 49mm tube cost only $20 with shipping, vented lens hood (unbranded) $5 with shipping. Attached the picture fitted with my Leica E55 polarizer (with adapter ring, the tube is 52mm on the open end). All fitted very tightly, good for special occasion. Usually I will store the accessories in a tin can – not an easy job to find such thing, but am very lucky in garage with packaging from my son’s toy.. Welcome, dear visitor!
