Sometimes the "focus square" disappeares, and I have to turn the camera upside down to make it come back.. I have searched this forum but can not seem to find an answer, bt I really hope someone can tell me what this problem is all about... I will try to be more carefull where I put my fingers ;-) Having shot on slr and DSLR for 15 years, there is some "getting used to" using a rangefinder... Are you certain you didn't accidentally buy the M9 Etchasketch version? Just joking and glad you've found the answer - we've all done it at one time or another.
