Advertisement Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Hi pum pum, Take a look here S2 or S2P ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
JMacD Posted April 19, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2011 If you can afford an S2, it is easy to rationalize the extra for a bit of screen protection. Definitely needed for a rental house. I just got an S2 as I have yet to ever scratch a LCD screen. A friend got a S2P but it was used as a former rental. Now if they ever offer sapphire on the sensor, I'd definitely go for that. tom0511 Posted April 20, 2011 Share #4 Posted April 20, 2011 I decided for the S2. If I was a Pro without backup I might have choosen the S2P for the faster replacement service. Since I am not a Pro plus I live in Germany and my Leica-dealer has good contacts to Leica I opted for the non-P-version. Also I have an acryl-glass protector on the display (you can find it on ebay for 10 Euro) which works totally fine. I rather spend the money gap between S2 and S2P for an additional lens.
