ldhrads Posted April 12, 2011 Share #1  Posted April 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been meaning to get out to the lake behind my house to take some shots of a nice looking gator I've seen lately. I really wanted to use my Telyt 280 or the Kilfitt 400 that I just acquired on the M9/Visoflex  Today I had the opportunity to shoot him with the M9 50 Elmar combo since he took a liking to my next door neighbors pool and took a swim this morning.  Unfortunately for the gator the next stop is the processing plant....   He's about 2.8 Meters in length Yes, he was looking right at me!!!

stuny Posted April 13, 2011 Share #6 Â Posted April 13, 2011 Lawrence - Â Very nice, especially the last. I thought Animal Control would capture it and release it deeper in the wild.
ldhrads Posted April 13, 2011 Author Share #7 Â Posted April 13, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Unfortunately, these big gators don't get released in the wild, they are considered nuisance gators and end up processed. A big gator like this would easily take my 100 pound golden retriever. Even a small child playing at the edge of the lake.
pauledell Posted April 15, 2011 Share #8 Â Posted April 15, 2011 Lawrence, Â Great shots of the gator. It would be wise for the owner of a pool to make a survey before diving in especially in the evening. Â Paul
