Advertisement Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Hi h00ligan, Take a look here X1 Interview. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
brill64 Posted April 14, 2011 Share #22 Â Posted April 14, 2011 ignore the naysayers..i think the interview was good, unbiased and simply presented. i also thought some of your images - especially the first portrait against the city backdrop - were stunning! anyway, happy to read it here. regarding the 'leica look', isn't that something created in post rather than in-camera? that's my impression. jpmac55 Posted April 14, 2011 Share #23 Â Posted April 14, 2011 I didn't see any harm with the interview. Certainly nothing X1 owners haven't already known about or the first time camera folks compare apples with oranges. Â There is so much information available these days, who can keep up? I limit myself to camera sites that I own or have an interest in.
saintotto Posted April 14, 2011 Share #24 Â Posted April 14, 2011 couldn't agree more yanidel! fact is that no camera is without its flaws. and i also appreciate Leica's openess on this. the strenghts and weakness are what they are. here you go reader and here's the images...if you like what you see, go ahead and get one. if not, then so be it. jsrockit Posted April 15, 2011 Share #25 Â Posted April 15, 2011 I commend Leica on releasing this... I just wish they did it in their original brochure.
elopezso Posted April 16, 2011 Share #26 Â Posted April 16, 2011 Otto, Â I thought it was a very good interview. Â Have you gotten a Fuji x100 to try & if so, how does it compare to the x1? Â Thx, Ed
gjames9142 Posted April 16, 2011 Share #27  Posted April 16, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I shoot with both the M9 and the X1, and I would make a couple of points in favour of the X1. Better at high ISO, and close-up capacity that the M9 simply doesn't have. Also, completely silent if you want it so, which can be useful, though will al the delay, I like to actually hear that shutter go. The interview was fine, I thought. This pic couldn't have been done with my M9. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! gjames9142 Posted April 19, 2011 Share #29 Â Posted April 19, 2011 @gjames why not? Â Couldn't get that close with my 35 Summicron. The macro-focus allows you to get much closer.
