Radio active summicron

Quite often, the canada balm used at the time to cement lens elements into lens groups turns yellowish when becoming older. So that may be the actual cause, it does not have to be the lens element itself.

Don't be so sure it is not the TERRIBLE radioactive Summicron ;)... many do exist over 1.000.000 : if you can read Italian, here's a link to an in deep article about radioactive lenses in general (there were really MANY) :
