If I were to be really picky, I'd have suggested it be a vertical shot, including the full reflection of the geese. But I'm not really picky, and like it as is. This happens while the ice is still present. In Minnesota the eggs hatch almost exactly on May Day. Oh yeah, your photograph is very well done in all the categories.
