jlancasterd Posted April 6, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) can anyone tell me what image magnification is provided by the Leitz 9cm SGVOO accessory viewfinder? Does it give a 1:1 image like the more recent Voigtlander 9cm finder?
Advertisement Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Hi jlancasterd, Take a look here SGV00 9cm Finder. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted April 6, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 6, 2011 It's lot of time I haven't used my SGVOO... but I read in the 1958 Leitz catalog "shows subject in natural size, with parallax compensation and index mark to show reduced field of view ..."; SGVOO and siblings were really well made viewfinders.... can't swear it's a 1:1, but surely image is greater than on M3 90mm frame, and M3 was 0,91x, if I remember correctly... jc_braconi Posted April 6, 2011 Share #4 Posted April 6, 2011 Just check with one, I confirm that what you see is 1:1 with a full frame for the 90 field of view and 4 corner inside the frame for near focusing field of view.
