JeTexas Posted April 6, 2011 Author Share #3 Â Posted April 6, 2011 I honestly don't know. It's some kind of lemur, I think. I was at a friend's apartment for dinner and opened the cabinets to find it. After a second it threw some tupperware at me, ran across the top of the cabinets, opened another one, went inside and closed the door behind itself. Â My friend just referred to it as "the monkey" and said it was the worst pet ever as it was nocturnal, had zero affection for people, and tended to poop behind the refrigerator. stuny Posted April 6, 2011 Share #4 Â Posted April 6, 2011 Adorable, and nice shots. Chances are your friend is breaking an endangered species law, and he paid a handsome price to do so.
pauledell Posted April 7, 2011 Share #5 Â Posted April 7, 2011 Great shots of a cute but likely unwanted species. I'll stay with my dogs. Â Paul
JeTexas Posted April 7, 2011 Author Share #6 Â Posted April 7, 2011 Apparently, it's a kinkajou (Kinkajou - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), which isn't actually a monkey and is not endangered. Â The best part of these photos is that with the new firmware, the X1 autofocus was fast enough to catch them.
