One post I read said you had to purchase a NEW lens buy Dec 31 2006. Is that true to get the 2 free vouchers to get 2 older lenses undated with the code? Did I miss out on this also. It is no longer on the Leica site, so the promotion must be over. I would just call your dealer and see what they say. It was Leica USA/Canada only and I think the promotion did expire, but the expiry was only in relation to whne you purchased the lens, not when the lens coding hade to be done . I'll call Leica and B&H tomorrow. I have a new 35 f/2 on it's way from B&H. Hopefully they extended the whole voucher program. I really would like to get my 50 and 90 coded. The vouchers are good only for coding on older lenses which are listed on Leica website. The program has been extended to June 2007. Typically, you send in the lens registration card, along with a receipt showing date of purchase of lens. Leica USA will then send you 2 vouchers for free coding. If you want to send in the to-be-coded lenses along with the registration card, there's a way to do that as well. Just call up Leica USA and check with them as to what documentation they want. Regarding the offer of free coding: earlier the last date to purchase the lens and receive free coding was December 31, 2006. There was no specific time limit (in the offer details, don't know about the actual voucher itself) on when you should send in your uncoded lenses. The link I posted earlier says the offer has been extended to June 30, 2007. I'm assuming this means you can buy a new lens by June 30, 2007, and still qualify for free coding of 2 other lenses.
