Cyril Jayant Posted May 22, 2011 Share #21 Posted May 22, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) lct, buy it! That's half what some of us paid for an M8. And then some of us paid again to get the M8 upgraded to semi-M8.2 status. You can't lose. And once you code your lenses and buy your filters, you'll see what the fuss is about. But no one on the forum will ever read your posts again. You'll lose all status. You'll be banned for switching sides, for caving in, for failing to discharge your duties honorably. A failure of manhood. No longer allowed to speak the French tongue. Heavens, they might even force you to choose between being cast into hell and wearing a "Nikon D700" strap. Or maybe they'll make you drag that RD1 through the streets of Paris, dangling from a "Nikon D700" strap attached to the rear of a 2 CV. For shame! For shame! Ohhhhhhhhh that is some thing very very serious!!!!!! << Mind the gap please >>!!

ramosa Posted June 6, 2011 Share #22 Posted June 6, 2011 Yes time for me to become a digiM fan i guess. The little beast still feels as slippery as a soap bar and noisy as a Nikon but the discrete mode and Tim Isaac's Thumb Up (kudos Tim) help me forget those oddities pending the M10 or M11. Agreed. To remedy the "slipperiness," I use a thumbs up and a Luigi leather case with built-in grip. Works very well for me.
