Does this refer to a Leica X2...?

I found the Linkedin page of an executive from FxJx (can't mention that name here I know) and saw one of his discussions mentioned the X1 so thought I'd do a quick and dirty Yahoo translation. I'm not sure what it all means but sounds like there's an X2 or is it an X200? I don't trust internet translations so maybe someone can read Japanese?

Translation

"When having decided to make the digital compact where the Fuji camera is new, we looked at our inspirations in leica M. The digital camera and design quality of the conventional range finder where have gotten married the electronic finder or the optical finder with the feature. We the result, bore X100 where we are very happy. The result of the initial from the user of the camera and after looking at feedback, we agree the fact that it is the camera whose now Leica X1 is greatly better with possible all method. Someone needs the finder in any case? I those seem that are exactly more splendid we than the oriental of the junk part and you do not know that it makes as for that being shipped by Germany for gluing together, as for mostly China make it is, those Germans how does that. Because I do not rival exactly under any condition, you looked at that new Leica X2 and our prototypes now have decided to withdraw X100. I am the person who is broken. Transfer my sword to me"

I'm not sure about this but what I saw on a website was that: 90% of Leica parts are made in Portugal (my country :p) and then assembled in Germany. The junk they mention should be the sensor and electronics.

It is really quite hard to understand given the ambiguity of the translation by google.

However, if it is indeed a Fuji exec talking down the X1 then I would have to say thats hardly professional and sounds almost vindictive. It also suggests their seeing the X1/X2 as a real threat. Maybe they're a little pissed coz leica cameras command higher prices than fuji.

IMO leica has done the right thing of concentrating on doing up firmware, perhaps starting on designing a much better X2, etc, etc. That to me is the high road and speaks volume of being a professional company concentrating on their own business.

Fuji has produced a nice camera in the X100, there's no need to talk down other makers, if anything, I think some may see fuji in a different light.

I totally agree, it is ridiculous to put faith in a crude yahoo translation to convey the meaning and subtleties of the Japanese language.

You bit and reacted as expected though, why not wait until a better translation is available before thowing everything in a bad light.

A basic rule in marketing: Do not talk about competitive products.

You want media black out on your competitors' products, coz any reference will spark interest.

There is clear reference to the brand Leica, that at least is pretty clear google translation or not.
