mhanke Posted January 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Some of you might remember that in November, I posted a shot of a beautiful Spanish castle, but in spite of all efforts, could not get right the scan: Click here to see the various versions After searching and trying a lot, I now hope to have found a much better way to set the scanner, so I present the most recent effort and would appreciate your opinion: better, or not? Advertisement Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Hi mhanke, Take a look here Remember Penfiel castle?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
meatboy Posted January 29, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 29, 2007 Marcus, to my eyes a big difference, this new one looks much more professional. Sharper all around and I prefer the contrast on this image, just look at the stone work in the walls. Are you going to let us in on the secrets and modifications you made to get it like this? PS: a wonderful image by the way! Tim
lambroving Posted January 29, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 29, 2007 Marcus, Looks much better and certainly looks like Spain.Nice 3-D in this one and less usual to see a scene like this not bathed in sunlight although I know it sometimes "rains in Spain". Drove nearby in 1991 and have snaps of ancient ruins in similar light. Would really like to go back.
