Hi there, someone had sent me a box filled with Leica accessories from the 30s-70s. There are WAY too many things to list, but among them was a copy stand set that is really neat. I did a little research and found out that it was the BEHOO BOOWO BELUN set but I am not sure EXACTLY how many pieces would have been included in a COMPLETE set. I do have a feeling that however many there were I might have them all, I just need a little help identifying them, I would hate to have them separated.

The set is in general great shape with very few signs of use, but the paint on the legs had suffered some peeling and they don't look all that nice on the outside. However I really do think that it's in very nice shape with great looking patina.

Does anyone know if there is a set-list of the things that came with a complete package when someone bought something like this?

Thanks a lot for any help :)

I'll post pictures on flickr later hen I get them, but from memory there are 12 legs and the center ring with threads, 1:1 focusing frame, a set of extension tubes (3 or 4) and a lot of other little gadgets that I'm not sure if they belong to it like some heavy-duty frame etc. Also, was that set used with any kind of a reflex housing or by itself with only a camera? I have a mirror housing with a SUPER old looking 3.5cm Elmar on which the f-stops go from 3.5 to f18 in an odd scale... does that go with it???

HELP :)

Thanks so much - apparently I have all the pieces except for the huge one in the last photo - that one I saw before and tried to sell but nobody bought it without the rest of the stuff I guess, I'll try looking for it again...

The info on the BOOWU/BOOWY-M is not correct. Neither of them can take any other 50mm lenses than the old collapsible ones. This is because it is the lense's inner bayonet (visiblde when you collapse the lens off the camera) that engages with the adapter. This of course short-circuits the lens focusing helical, meaning that only thes ubject sizes A3, A4 and A5 can be used with this fix-focus rig. I have used mine with my 1960 50mm Elmar 2.8; the later version does not fit, a.f.a.i.k.

Lars, the rings (if that's the word) of my BOOWU have female screw threads and you don't collapse the lens, just lock it at infinity. So in principle they take rigid LTM 50mm lenses (though I guess that the f/1.5 ones are too fat).

The rings of my BOOWU-M, however, have a small bayonet mount as you describe.
