Advertisement Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Hi perceptivelight, Take a look here Micro Visoflex III. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jc_braconi Posted March 19, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2011 Micro Visoflex, have interchageable screens usually one clear and one "sanded" The price of the one you linked is out of reason IMHO, you can find some "regular" with fixed screen as lesser price. JC: I bought a used micro viso III with only one screen and it looks quite rough as compared to a fixed focusing screen on the regular visoflex. Is this what you mean by "sanded"? I always wonder if it is a genuine Leica item or if it has been somehow modified. Also, what do you think of the removable screen feature as far as precision is concerned? Would moving the screen in and out during exchange create inaccuracy in its position and therefore focusing problems?

In this moment I'm using one with the 5x large straight magnifier and I use the clear one screen, excepting yours as been overused, I think, based on the kind of assembly, that screens are well made and the accuracy remains.
