Fun comparison X1/M9

Setting aside a lot of variables I have two photos to compare, one from X1 and the other from M9. I have a few thoughts of my own, but it's only a fun comparison not a deeply meaningful critical view.

Please elaborate.

I am looking at the similarities, and the differences. There are so many factors that are different with these two cameras and I think the images show this. Too many variables for empirical discussion, it's really make your own mind up time.

I still don´t get it.

To me the first one has more contrast and shows a bit more finer detail. I would hope that the second one is from the M9 because if not the camera will have to go back to Solms to have the sensor cleaned...

I want to know which camera has the ability automatically to remove unwanted objects like engine parts. I have both M9 and X1 and neither of my cameras does this. Do I need new firmware?

It's shot thorough an airplane window - the lighting/reflection changes by the second and a tiny angle change will affect how the image looks because it's through the double-pane of (smudged) plexiglass. There is no way to compare cameras this way. You could take 5 shots each a second apart from the same camera and everyone of them would look different.

OK, no perspex or engine parts this time. Extra points if you can name the place.

You should start by wiping the dust of the sensor of your M9. It's too easy to spot!
