jaapv Posted March 15, 2011 Share #22 Posted March 15, 2011 Thanks, jaap. I am going to hire a LR geek for bit to get the printing setup and PP procedures going. I know it takes a long time. This image, taken a few seconds later, has no moire. In general I like deep focus/ I have never understood the "bokeh" thing. Still, you must have done something to get the image a tad softer on the grid, taking the frequency outside the resonating spectrum, akin to the AA filter on the average digicam. It can be a slight defocus, or even a minimal camera shake.
gjames9142 Posted March 15, 2011 Author Share #23 Posted March 15, 2011 Jaap, It is probably because it was a grab shot -- the woman suddenly leaning forward to pick up her dog's ball, although exif says 250. It seems reasonably sharp at 1:1, although I dunno anymore. I am a digital moron. Welcome, dear visitor!
