daveleo Posted March 12, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is a problem for me when viewing forum pictures on my netbook (limited screen area). I like to view a posted image then click "<previous / next>" to see the next one. However when I do that the page realigns so again most of the top of the screen is text and toolbars (see image below). So I have to scroll the image up. Click to next. Scroll the image up etc etc. Is there some trick to hiding the toolbars and text that appears above the image post, when I am surfing in a photo subforum ? Advertisement Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Hi daveleo, Take a look here screen view clicking through threads. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted March 15, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 15, 2011 Windows has the option to hide the toolbar automatically, and you can use F11 to jump to full screen.
daveleo Posted March 15, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted March 15, 2011 thanks Jaap, but the little toolbar is not my problem, it's the web page text material that is above the thread heading. I am certain now that there is no way around this, but I appreciate your answer. Dave
erl Posted March 19, 2011 Share #4 Posted March 19, 2011 Dave#4, I share your 'pain.' I am using a largish monotor, but the problem you discuss is just enlarged on a bigger screen. I content myself with just using the keys as necessary and accept that this is part of the virtual world I have joined.
