It will be about 4 - 5 hours; it's motorway all the way. Not much longer than driving to work, some days...

I can't go down on the Friday and by train it would be ridiculous, plus I wouldn't be able to get where I am going in the evening.

We're doing it as a day-trip, but it won't take that long, to be sure.:D Parking in Brighton is bloody expensive, as I remember - I'll have a ferret around to see if there is any guidance on anything cheaper.

Regards,

Bill

Unfortunately we're not going to be able to make it. Having made my first mistake early in life by being born in the wrong bed, I have to work for a living and find that I have to go to the Philippines to present a training course from the 7th to the 22nd.

I was really looking forward to the weekend and meeting new people, so am most disappointed. Anyway I hope everyone has a great time and now look forward to the next Seaside Challenge.

I hope to be there! It's a long time since I attended an LUF meeting so it's about time that I caught up with old friends and meet a few more from north of Portsdown Hill in the flesh, so to speak. Many of you I feel that I know having "conversed" via the Forum, but never face to face...it should be fun.

I promise not to bring my S2 with three lenses (joke!) but I will bring my DL4 as Leica passport plus the odd "foreigner".:D
