Advertisement Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Hi stunsworth, Take a look here Seaside challenge 2011 - meeting details. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted March 8, 2011 Share #22 Posted March 8, 2011 It will be about 4 - 5 hours; it's motorway all the way. Not much longer than driving to work, some days... I can't go down on the Friday and by train it would be ridiculous, plus I wouldn't be able to get where I am going in the evening.
bill Posted March 8, 2011 Share #23 Posted March 8, 2011 We're doing it as a day-trip, but it won't take that long, to be sure. Parking in Brighton is bloody expensive, as I remember - I'll have a ferret around to see if there is any guidance on anything cheaper. Regards, Bill
andybarton Posted March 8, 2011 Share #24 Posted March 8, 2011 Unless there's a "Park and Ride", I will most likely be parking here: The Lanes - Brighton & Hove City Council My car park design team did this refurb about 18 months ago, so I am supporting them

lanetomlane Posted March 21, 2011 Share #28 Posted March 21, 2011 Unfortunately we're not going to be able to make it. Having made my first mistake early in life by being born in the wrong bed, I have to work for a living and find that I have to go to the Philippines to present a training course from the 7th to the 22nd. I was really looking forward to the weekend and meeting new people, so am most disappointed. Anyway I hope everyone has a great time and now look forward to the next Seaside Challenge. _______________________ Cheers, Tom
dhsimmonds Posted March 28, 2011 Share #29 Posted March 28, 2011 I hope to be there! It's a long time since I attended an LUF meeting so it's about time that I caught up with old friends and meet a few more from north of Portsdown Hill in the flesh, so to speak. Many of you I feel that I know having "conversed" via the Forum, but never face to face...it should be fun. I promise not to bring my S2 with three lenses (joke!) but I will bring my DL4 as Leica passport plus the odd "foreigner".
andybarton Posted March 28, 2011 Share #30 Posted March 28, 2011 The Lanes - Brighton & Hove City Council If anyone is interested, this car park has just won an award. No. Thought not I want one for my car park refurbishment project...
