Pecole Posted February 14, 2011 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) On July 28, 2010, I already published a thread "Russian fake" with two black and white photos of fake Summar nº 194837. When going on digitalising my Fontenelle photographic archives, I came across three more photos - colour this time - of the same lens Here are they. The first one compares the rigid and collapsible "true" Summars with the fake (centre) one. On the last photo, the quality of the engraving is noticeable. It confirms a contested hypothesis, that some Soviet-era fakes, cameras and lenses, were purposedly made by the "official" producers in order to hurt the Nazi economy.
