I came across this fascinating post having just seen parts of the assembly up for auction. www.photomacrography.net :: View topic - Something old And an item ref.110644994899 I described and illustrated here a camera very similar to "yours" in a thread "Leitz before Leica" on June 12, 2010.Following Van Hasbroeck, who published a drawing of "my" camera. this type of wooden 13x18 plate cameras were produced by Leitz for various micro- and macrography applications during the 1980s, but it seems that they were still catalogued in the early 1900s.
