actually i think brjr is ken rockwell, sending you to his site to read his review and then click through to buy the product and he gets a click-through commission. would be nice if this forum was absent this anonymous effort for profit. but it is the world we live in.

btw, i use a macbook pro 17 but do not use aperture 3. c1 pro 6, lr3, and ps are more than enough software to master and more than enough to create what i like. personally, i think c1 pro 6 is best -- and i am not affiliated with them nor do i have web site.

I use a Win box & agree about C1 pro 6

love its interface which seems the best for me & I find its details & color rendering superb

Of course, some of us are already aware of this; including other benefits of Aperture 3 and its overall ease of use, in gettings things done quickly and in an enjoyable way, at the same time: ;)

Apple Aperture 3

Reading Mr. Rockwell's piece, I come away with the impression that he doesn't fully comprehend the general trend away from Photoshop in favor of parametric image editors such as Lightroom, Aperture, C1, etc...

Photoshop is a long way from dead but its no longer a required stop for high quality image processing.

Just my opinion.
