A quirky M8 day...

Today I went to a railway museum with the kids and my M8 apparently had an off day.

It was both inside and outside and not really cold (10 deg C) but the M8 went nuts on me two times. The display on top showing 999 exposures, weird exposure info in the VF and among some 30 DNG only frames suddenly one JPG at ISO 2500 pops up... But looking at the JPG in Lightroom is noisy but not 2500 noisy. Needless to say I didn't fiddled with any settings in the menu.

A few minutes later it locked up completely. It even refused to power off and the shutter-release stayed locked even when the power switched was on. I had to remove the battery to get things going again.

Although the battery indicator showed full, I still think it's the prime suspect. I'm draining it completely now by leaving the camera on with an image on the display. See if that helps.

Most shots turned out fine though...
