CNY London _ Sun 6th Feb

Xmas

Noel,

May I suggest that we also arrange to meet up at, say, the Chandos pub at 4pm after the event so that others, late-comers and those who want to shoot on their own can join us for a well-earned refreshment?

Pete.

Hi Pete

Excellent idea, but 16:00 may be too late the light normally dies about 15:00? We would normally go to a veg curry place in Drummond Street apres, but you would have to get a pink slip for the kennel as you will have eaten onions and things like that...

But we would stop off at midday to adjust heel tanks coffee or whatever.

Please feel free to org, it is your outing as well.

Noel,

3 pm sounds fine to me and I'll have had enough by then anyway so 3 pm at the Chandos it is for the 'wash-up' and more leisurely attendees.

The veg curry place in Drummond Street - is that the Diwani? If so then it's an excellent Gujarati restaurant that I know well and my arm could be twisted to venture there after 'a little light refreshment' at the Chandos.

Hi Pete

Well I've been there too but I meant Ravi's, it is next door, similar traditional hindu veg food, you can twist my arm if you want.

I'll go by train then to avoid the polish balloons.

The light can hang on if there are high patchy clouds, I lose interest at about 1/125 f/4, for 400 ISO.

If you have changed you phone # please PM it.

Thank you for demonstrating your finders, alas most of my lenses & bodies were cheaper...

I've just discovered that the Clown Service is taking place tomorrow afternoon and it seems to good an opportunity to pass up so I may be a little late in getting to the Chandos for 3pm.

Still expecting to be at Leicester Square for 10-10.30 though.

Mr Habis,

The meeting point is outside the Cranbourne Street entrance to Leicester Square tube station between 10 and 10.30 am. Look for people with Leica cameras. I am 5 ft 6 in and will be wearing a blue fleece, grey trousers and a dark coloured woolen hat.

Pete.
